Beer Style: Robust Porter (12B)
Recipe Type: extract
Yield: 5.25 US gallons

Robust Porter
Beer Color

Description:

First taste was on 02/08/2014 when i took my first gravity reading. quite a bit of yeast still in suspension. Had a nice bitter quality to it, slight roasty malt flavors came through but not a lot. I might have liked a little more but could be subdued cause of the yeast in suspension. Will chill for a few hours to drop some yeast out of suspension and try again. This will not need any extensive aging as it doesnt have any "green" qualities even after a week old.
